Welcome to Digital Design

Welcome to Digital Design. This course will expose and highlight the presence of design in our everyday surroundings, providing a basis for understanding the work and the importance of designers. The disciplines of 2-D graphic design will be exemplified and examined, but we will also explore fashion, architecture, industrial, and interior design. Students will learn how to use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash and will be challenged to produce solutions using design and creative problem solving.

Make sure you bring a flash drive to save all of your work June 25th.

Term 2 Projects- make sure you upload all projects to your blog, but save the html to the Shared- 00Design- Final Web Sites file put a file with your name in there so I can see your work.

Mini Animation

Create a super short animation using the following Flash techniques:
  1. Create Symbol- Main subject.
  2. 2 + Layers (include a background layer).
  3. Motion Tween.
  4. Shape Tween
  5. Motion Guide.
  6. Ease of the Motion.
  7. Tween Alpha or Colours.
  8. Short story with main character with conflict and resolution.
